Until the New Year...

These are my favorites from the last family session of the season. I'm thrilled that I caught a couple smiles from the littlest- though her pout was awfully cute too. Enjoy this gorgeous bunch and I look forward to scheduling for 2009!

Cold Hands, Warm Hearts

It was very cold outside, but here's a family with a sense of adventure. I was so impressed with the dad's enthusiasm as he sized up the scenery and shared his awesome eye for detail. I loved how the family laughed together and helped put smiles on each others faces.

Family at Play

Here's an adorable family that chose to play in their backyard. They were so casual and easy-going, and I loved capturing their fun personalities.

Feelin' the Love

While driving to Dover, TN for this photoshoot, the fall colors were overwhelmingly beautiful. Unfortunately, the spot we had picked out wasn't as colorful, but the family made up for that. I loved that the mom had some ideas of her own to try and there were so many sweet couple moments that it was almost like an engagement session. It's hard to decide what fits these pictures best- color, black and white or sepia? I'm leaning a little towards black and white.

First Fall Family

This is the first fall family photo shoot I had this year. The funniest thing is that as we walked from place to place the older boy would exclaim, "This is fun!" I thought that maybe I should get him to put that in writing for future clients. He's right. It was fun. I enjoyed meeting this beautiful family and checking out the scenery at Dunbar Cave.
