Girl Power (I Heart Faces- Pink}

I didn't want to let this week's I Heart Faces photo challenge pass me by. The theme is PINK in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. We women and girls have so much to celebrate and so much to fight for! I am soooo grateful for my mom, my sister, my daughters, my best friend and all the wonderful women who have touched my life! There is nothing quite like a true girlfriend that you can laugh and cry with and who loves you no matter what! So to celebrate these relationships, my picture is one of my 6 year old daughter walking her friend home after an afternoon of play. Girl power!

See more pink and be inspired!

Holiday Cards {Fort Campbell, KY Family Photography}

Want to go for something a little unexpected this year? I love these gorgeous floral designs in yellow. When I saw them I thought they would be a perfect fit for many of the lovely nature setting portraits that I have done recently. So if you had your family portraits taken by me this year, or if you are on the books for Fall, consider getting these cards customized with your favorite photos from your session. The text may be altered as well. All cards come on the highest quality paper in 5x7 size and are printed on both front and back. Pricing for cards from CG Dickson Photography is $40 for a set of 24 cards with envelopes. I'll have a few more designs for the red and green crowd soon.

Isn't it Romantic? {Ft Campbell, KY and Clarksville, TN Engagement Photographer}

Fall and romance go so well together, don't they? When the temperatures turn cooler and the leaves begin to change, I always fondly look back on the time I fell in love with my own sweetheart during a fall 13 years ago. I remember that on one of our dating excursions we had asked an older couple to take a picture of us in front of a perfectly picturesque fall landscape. Unfortunately, those pictures got lost before they ever got developed... or perhaps the stranger didn't fully click the shutter button... I'm not really sure what happened to those shots, but the memory remains.

I was glad to capture a few memories for this happy couple. As is often the case, these two wanted me to tell them what to do and how to pose. I gave just a little guidance and a lot more encouragement to do just what came naturally. I think it worked! I love the genuine exchanges of adoration that came through in these photos.

May this couple have many happy seasons ahead of them!
