Brand New {Clarksville, TN Newborn Photographer}

I was excited to meet the new edition to this family. I kept finding myself holding my breath in hopes that I wouldn't disturb this sleeping beauty who was 11 days new. Her big brother wasn't very happy with me as I clearly invaded his space- a bedroom with a nice big window and great light. But I think he forgave me, because he did eventually show me the worms in his prized tacklebox. Here's the pretty baby and her sweet family.

This is a sample of the baby announcements that I am now offering. I love how the black and white photos look on this pretty pink card. (All names have been changed to protect the innocent- well, I didn't change my own name, but then perhaps I'm not the innocent.) I will have more announcments in both pink and blue to show you soon.

LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE

One really fun little corner of the online photography world is the blog i heart faces. Readers are invited to share a photo that fits a weekly theme. I haven't played before, but who can resist "Hilarious Outtakes" week? What mom doesn't have a thousand outtakes? Those pre-holiday shoots never disappoint...at least not when it comes to off the wall expressions and incredibly akward poses. Oh the photos that don't make it onto the Christmas card!

Here are a few of my little darlings from this past holiday shoot.

And my littlest gave me a favorite photo during our session the previous year. It's a stretch to say it is "hilarious." Everytime I look at it I teeter back and forth between giggling and crying. I believe "pitifully adorable" describes it well.

Head on over to i heart faces' "Hilarious Outtakes" for some good laughs this week.

The Teen Scene {Clarksville, TN Senior Photographer}

I hit the jackpot for good looking teen models when I took fall portraits for a home school organization. Here are a few from that pretty day. (Yes, I'm still backtracking, but up next are brand new photos of a brand new little person.)

Celebrating LOVE

I hope everyone is happily celebrating the LOVES of their lives this weekend. My sweetheart and I enjoyed some take out Chinese food and a trip to the movie theater on Friday. Dear Dave gets extra brownie points for politely enduring "Dear John." Because he is such a good sport, my husband didn't hesitate to take me to this movie based on a book by one of my favorite authors, Nicholas Sparks. I give it 5 stars for romance, but I admit it was void of any thrilling, edge-of-your-seat adventure that a James Bond fan is accustomed to. Since this is not a blog about movie reviews, I shall get on with sharing a photo.

Stay tuned for a special offer for Spring photo sessions.

Backtracking {Oak Grove, KY Family Photographer}

Remember when greens, yellows and oranges dominated the landscape? I know we are in the middle of some crazy snow right now, but I wanted to backtrack a few steps and post a few shots from a fun fall session. I enjoyed meeting this cute family on a pretty day at Billy Dunlop Park.

Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to share a photo from my most difficult photo shoot of the year. Yep, those are my children and boy did they make me work for that shot. :)

Merry Christmas to all my clients past and future!
